Magnetic Separator DMP Series
Magnetic separators in the DMP series are magnetic drum filters for continuous purification of cutting fluids, grinding oils, and process fluids with high magnetic particle content.
Through a slowly rotating magnetic drum with powerful permanent magnets, even very fine iron particles are captured, resulting in cleaner fluids, longer tool life, and reduced equipment wear.

System Integration

Design
The DMP series is available in sizes from 50 to 500 l/min and can be delivered standalone, mounted on a tank, or as part of complete filtration systems.
The drum consists of sintered permanent magnets mounted on a stainless steel support structure and is rotated by a worm gear motor at very low speed for optimal separation.
Operation
Contaminated fluid is directed into the drum's rear chamber where it passes over the strongly magnetised steel discs.
Magnetic particles adhere directly to the drum surface. Non-magnetic particles are also captured indirectly, as the magnetic particle layer acts as a fine filter.
As the drum rotates, contaminants are automatically scraped off via an adjustable scraper blade and directed to a sludge discharge.
Purified fluid flows onwards to a tank or the next stage in the purification process.
