From Arboga-Darenth to Nederman – and onwards to Primetek
Swedish technology with a strong heritage
Arboga-Darenth has its roots in the core of Swedish manufacturing industry. For several decades, the company was a leading manufacturer of equipment for chip and cutting fluid handling – robust machines developed to withstand demanding operating environments and contribute to cleaner, more efficient production.
Through innovation, quality and long-term thinking, Arboga-Darenth built an international reputation and exported machines worldwide. In 2008, the company was acquired by Nederman and Nederman Machining was formed. In connection with the acquisition, production was moved from Arboga to Poland – but the technology, drawings and expertise continued within the group.
When Primetek Systems AB acquired Nederman's Machining operations in 2021, the circle was completed. The expertise and product portfolio that once emerged in Arboga returned home to Sweden, now as part of Primetek's modern organisation in Västerås.
Today, the shared heritage of Arboga-Darenth and Nederman Machining lives on in Primetek's products, design and engineering culture. The combination of experience, new technology and genuine craftsmanship enables us to offer the market's most reliable and sustainable solutions for chip handling, crushing, centrifuging and fluid purification.
