Flatbed filter type FB is a compact and reliable paper band filter for purification of cutting fluid and process fluids. Through gravity filtration and automatic filter feeding, stable flow and low consumption of filter media are ensured. Ideal for CNC machining, grinding and smaller central systems.

System Integration
Flatbed filter FB can be installed as a standalone purification unit or integrated into complete cutting fluid systems together with tanks, pumps, magnetic pre-filters, centrifuges or further filtration stages. Thanks to the modular design, the filter can be easily adapted to both individual machines and larger central systems.

Design
Flatbed filter FB is delivered in several sizes with capacities from 40 to 250 l/min, with the possibility of special designs up to 750 l/min.
The filter cloth is guided over a perforated bed where the fluid is distributed with a spreader plate for optimal coverage of the entire filter surface.
The design is compact, robust and requires only simple service, as all main components are easily accessible.
Tank, stand and connections can be built according to customer requirements and integrated with existing cutting fluid systems.
Operation
Contaminated process fluid is directed over the filter cloth where particles and contaminants are captured.
When a filter cake has built up, the fluid level rises and a level guard starts automatic feeding of new filter cloth.
This ensures even flow, correct filtration grade and very low manual handling.
The FB series is developed for continuous operation in machining and grinding processes where stable purification of the cutting fluid is critical.
