Design
HD82 is a horizontal centrifuge with high capacity and robust construction for continuous fluid separation in industrial chip flows. The horizontal drum with wedge-wire screen efficiently separates cutting fluid, whilst wear-resistant materials ensure long service life.
The machine is equipped with variable speed, soft start, and efficient brake, providing optimised separation, low stress, and rapid stops. Automatic discharge after each cycle delivers a clean and stable process with minimal maintenance. Service-friendly construction with easily accessible components.
Operation
Chips are fed into the centrifuge drum where they are accelerated outward against the wedge-wire screen. Cutting fluid is pressed through the screen and collected, whilst dewatered chips are conveyed onwards to the discharge point.
The horizontal design enables the drum to empty automatically after each cycle, minimising spillage and enabling rapid cleaning. Variable speed control allows separation to be optimised for different materials and flow rates.
HD82 typically delivers 2–4% residual moisture content.
Accessories & Options
HD82 is delivered as a complete unit and requires few accessories. The following options can be used to customise the installation:
- Scrap separator before the centrifuge when the feed contains longer chips or solid pieces.
- Custom connection to feeding conveyor depending on machine model
- Stands and support structures can be adapted as required
