Design
HD100 is a horizontal high-capacity centrifuge built for demanding industrial chip flows. The rotating drum with wedge-wire screen efficiently separates cutting fluid, whilst the robust steel construction and hardened wear surfaces ensure long service life during 24/7 operation.
The machine is equipped with variable speed, soft start, and efficient brake, providing optimised separation and short downtimes. Automatic discharge after each cycle minimises maintenance and makes cleaning quick and simple.
Operation
Chips are fed into the HD100's horizontal drum where they are accelerated outward against the wedge-wire screen. Cutting fluid is pressed through the screen and collected, whilst dewatered chips are conveyed onwards to the discharge point.
The high rotational speed combined with variable speed control provides optimal separation even at high flow rates. The drum empties automatically after each cycle, minimising spillage, enabling rapid material changes, and delivering a stable and clean process.
HD100 typically delivers 2–4% residual moisture content.
Accessories & Options
HD100 is delivered as a complete unit and requires few accessories. The following options can be used to customise the installation:
- Scrap separator before the centrifuge when the feed contains longer chips or solid pieces
- Custom connection to feeding conveyor, depending on system layout
- Stands and support structures adapted for height, placement, or service access
- Collection vessels or piping for returned cutting fluid
