CleanMist PRO XL is a high-capacity oil mist separator for larger CNC machines and demanding machining applications. This powerful air cleaner combines centrifugal force with advanced coalescence technology to deliver maximum air filtration even under high load conditions. The system efficiently removes oil mist and aerosols, creating a safer working environment and extending machine service life. The unit is mounted directly on the machine, and the separated cutting fluid can be drained away or returned to the machine sump for cost-efficient operation.
Typical applications
CleanMist PRO XL is intended for machines and processes where oil mist and fine aerosol particles are generated. Thanks to its compact design, the unit can be mounted directly on the machine – completely without ductwork or connection to an existing ventilation system.

Design
The CleanMist Pro series is available in three models (S, M, and XL) with airflows from 480 to 1,950 m³/h. Each unit features a robust steel construction and is designed for both open and closed applications, suitable for everything from individual machines to group installations.
Operation
Contaminated air is drawn into the separator by an integrated fan. The air first passes through a rotating centrifugal drum where larger oil droplets are separated and returned to the machine tank. Subsequently, finer aerosol particles are captured in a two-stage coalescence filter that uses the coalescence effect to combine the smallest particles into larger droplets.
The purified air then flows out through a duct connection or open outlet, ready to be returned to the facility.
